Bradford R. White is Interim Director of the Illinois Education Research Council. His research at the IERC has focused on the development and management of human resources in PK-12 schools, primarily on policies affecting teacher quality, school leadership, and education reform. He has served on the Illinois P-20 Council’s Committee on Teacher and Leader Effectiveness, the Illinois Longitudinal Data System Data Advisory Committee, the Illinois State Board of Education’s Partnership for Educator Preparation, and the Illinois School Leadership Advisory Council. Brad is a member of the Association for Education Finance and Policy, the American Educational Research Association, and the Society for Research on Educational Effectiveness. Brad earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Studies from Vanderbilt University (1998) and a Master’s degree in Educational Policy Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2001).
